# CZR Wallet

CZR Wallet is a self-custody wallet designed to give users direct access to supported digital assets, blockchain networks, swaps, bridges, and onchain applications through the CZR ecosystem.

In a self-custody wallet, the user is responsible for controlling and protecting the credentials required to access their assets. CZR cannot reverse completed blockchain transactions or restore access without the required recovery information.

### CZR Exchange Account vs. CZR Wallet

| CZR Exchange Account | CZR Wallet |
| ---------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| Designed for trading and centralized CZR products | Designed for self-custody and onchain activity |
| Assets are managed within the exchange environment | Users control access to their wallet |
| Account recovery may be available after verification | Lost recovery credentials may result in permanent loss |
| Internal transfers can be processed within CZR | Transfers are processed through blockchain networks |
| Subject to CZR account controls | Subject to blockchain and smart-contract risks |

Moving assets from a CZR Exchange account to CZR Wallet generally requires a blockchain withdrawal unless CZR provides an eligible internal wallet-transfer function.

### Creating a Wallet

To create a CZR Wallet:

1. Download the official application through [czrex.app](https://czrex.app).
2. Select **Create Wallet**.
3. Follow the on-screen security instructions.
4. Record the recovery information exactly as displayed.
5. Store the recovery information offline in a secure location.
6. Confirm the backup when prompted.
7. Set a strong application passcode.
8. Enable biometric security where available.

Never store wallet recovery information in an unencrypted screenshot, email, cloud note, or public messaging application.

### Importing an Existing Wallet

Where supported, users may import an existing compatible wallet using its recovery credentials or another approved method.

Only enter wallet credentials into the official CZR Wallet application. A website, support agent, administrator, or community moderator requesting a seed phrase or private key is attempting to gain control of the wallet.

### Sending Digital Assets

Before sending an asset:

1. Confirm the asset and blockchain network.
2. Verify the complete destination address.
3. Confirm that the receiving wallet supports the selected network and token.
4. Review the estimated network fee.
5. Check the amount and expected recipient balance.
6. Send a small test transaction when practical.
7. Confirm the transaction.

Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible after confirmation.

### Receiving Digital Assets

To receive an asset:

1. Select the asset in CZR Wallet.
2. Select **Receive**.
3. Choose the correct network.
4. Copy the wallet address or display its QR code.
5. Confirm that the sender is using the same network.

The same token symbol may exist on multiple networks. Always verify the token contract and blockchain network.

### Supported Networks and Assets

CZR Wallet may support multiple blockchain networks and digital assets. Support can change as networks are added, upgraded, suspended, or removed.

A compatible wallet address does not guarantee that every token or onchain application on that network is supported by CZR Wallet.

The current supported-network list should be verified through the official CZR Wallet application before completing a transaction.

### Adding Custom Tokens

Where available, users may add a custom token using its official contract address.

Before adding a token:

* Verify the contract address through the project’s official sources.
* Confirm the correct blockchain network.
* Review the contract through a recognized block explorer.
* Do not rely on the token name or symbol alone.

Fake tokens may copy the name and symbol of legitimate projects.

### Connecting to Onchain Applications

CZR Wallet may allow users to connect to supported decentralized applications.

Before connecting:

* Verify the application domain.
* Review every requested permission.
* Confirm the token and amount involved.
* Avoid unnecessary unlimited approvals.
* Disconnect applications that are no longer used.
* Revoke suspicious or outdated token approvals.

Connecting a wallet does not mean CZR has reviewed, endorsed, or guaranteed the application.

### CZR AI

CZR Wallet may include AI-supported features designed to help users explore information, understand wallet activity, and navigate supported services.

AI-generated information may be incomplete or incorrect. It does not constitute financial, investment, legal, tax, or security advice. Users must independently verify transaction details before approving any onchain action.

### Wallet Recovery

Wallet recovery depends on the confirmed key-management and backup design of CZR Wallet.

Users must follow the recovery instructions displayed by the official application. CZR Support will never ask for a seed phrase, private key, recovery code, or wallet password.

Never claim that CZR can recover a self-custody wallet unless the confirmed product architecture provides an approved recovery mechanism.

### Wallet Security

* Protect recovery credentials offline.
* Use a strong device passcode.
* Enable biometric protection where available.
* Keep the application and operating system updated.
* Avoid rooted or jailbroken devices.
* Never install applications from unofficial links.
* Review token approvals regularly.
* Verify every address and network.
* Never share recovery information with support agents.
* Do not allow remote access to a device containing a wallet.

### Important Wallet Risk Notice

Self-custody involves the risk of permanent loss. Assets may be lost through exposed credentials, phishing, malware, incorrect addresses, unsupported networks, malicious contracts, blockchain failures, or lost recovery information.

CZR cannot reverse confirmed blockchain transactions. Users are responsible for protecting their wallet credentials and reviewing every transaction before approval.
